Saint Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University in partnership with CSID UI and the Faculty of Engineering UI have successfully held an international conference with the theme International Scientific Conference on Innovations in Digital Economy on 22 and 23 October 2020. This conference was held virtually. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UI, Dr. Hendri DS Budiono, and the Director of CSID FTUI, Dr. Mohammed Ali Berawi participated as a speaker at the international conference.

As reported on sindonews.com and the official website of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia, Hendri explained that the diffusion process of innovation during the 4.0 industrial revolution led to the re-establishment of the economic system and structural changes in various sectors and economic fields. The innovations created then become the basis for new digital infrastructure for society.

Ali Berawi on the same occasion explained that digital technology innovation that is supported by a society-oriented human need is very important to harmonize economic development and environmental regeneration. Furthermore, Ali also explained that our future depends very much on our ability to create technology that can help in climate regulation, health, social equality and sustainability of resources. Therefore, the existing resources have accelerated industrial and economic development as well as a shift towards sustainable resources.

Ali Berawi who is also the editor of the IJTech journal together with Dr. Nyoman Suwartha gave material on “Tips and Strategies in Publications in International Scientific Journals”.
