CSID FTUI Seminar Series 2020 “Engineering Interactive Technologies: Application of 3D Printing, Machine Learning and IOT”

On January 16, 2020, CSID has held a routine annual seminar series with the theme of discussing the use of 3D Printing technology, Machine Learning, and the concept of the Internet of Things. The guest speaker at the seminar this time was Dr. Stefanie Mueller is from MIT. The resource person is the chairperson of the HCI Engineering Group at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. The seminar was held at the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia and attended by at least 80 participants. The speaker explained to the participants how the development of utilizing technological advances was implemented in the usual cases faced by the Engineers.

On the same occasion, the chairman of CSID who is an innovation management expert at the University of Indonesia, Mohammed Ali Berawi also gave an explanation on how the influence of the quality of the building can affect the productivity of its inhabitants. In office buildings in particular, the time spent on activities by workers in buildings is nearly 80 percent. Therefore, the pattern of green building development continues to be developed in construction.
